Meera Jasmine  completed her schooling in , Seventh Day AdventistEnglish Medium High School (KG to Fourth), Thekkemala, Mar ThomaResidential School (Fifth standard to +2), Thiruvalla.She completed her schooling in March,2000.She had enrolled for a BSCProgram (Zoology) at one of the local universities and completed nearly3 months in this program, when she was spotted by director Blessy (whowas then an assistant director to director Lohitadas) and offered arole in "Soothradharan".
